The Central Bank of Nigeria has announced the launch of its newly redesigned website, set to go live on Monday, December 2, 2024.
The upgraded platform, accessible via www.cbn.gov.ng, promises a more user-friendly experience, incorporating advanced technologies to meet public expectations.
In a statement released by the Acting Director of Corporate Communications, Hakama Sidi Ali, the CBN emphasized that the website was developed entirely in-house.
“The Bank has developed a contemporary Web API using Microsoft .NET Core 8, the latest stable release, to improve user experience by making navigation faster and easier,” she explained.
The revamped platform also introduces mobile responsiveness, ensuring seamless navigation across various devices and browsers.
According to Mrs. Ali, the redesign includes expanded content covering the Bank’s mandates and other relevant information, aimed at better engaging with the public.
The CBN acknowledged public feedback as a critical factor in shaping the redesign. “We are grateful for the valuable input from the public, which has guided our efforts in creating a website that aligns with the needs of our stakeholders,” Mrs. Ali said.
The Bank encouraged users to stay informed by following its social media platforms, which are accessible through the redesigned website’s homepage.
