President Bola Tinubu has landed in Lagos State to celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays.
The President touched down at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, at precisely 3:23 pm on Wednesday.
Prior to his journey to Lagos, Tinubu presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly for their review and approval.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, it was revealed that the President was warmly received at the airport by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, and members of the state’s cabinet.
The statement read, “President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to observe the Christmas and New Year festivities.
“Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, alongside Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat and cabinet members, welcomed the President at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport.
“Before departing for Lagos, President Tinubu had presented the 2025 budget proposal, amounting to N47.9 trillion, to the National Assembly in Abuja.”
