Olajumoke Orisaguna, famously known as the bread seller turned model, has refuted claims that she received N400,000 from singer Harrysong for appearing in his music video.
Speaking during an interview, Olajumoke clarified that her involvement in the project was voluntary.
“There’s a rumor that Harrysong paid me N400,000 after I danced in his video,” she said. “But I did it for free.”
Olajumoke rose to fame in February 2016 when she accidentally walked into a photoshoot featuring British rapper Tinie Tempah, led by Nigerian photographer Ty Bello.
The photoshoot’s unexpected twist brought her into the public eye, transforming her life overnight.
Before her discovery, Olajumoke, a hairstylist from Ire, Osun State, had moved to Lagos in search of a better life, leaving behind her husband and two children. To survive, she sold “Agege bread,” making modest daily earnings.
Her life took a dramatic turn when Ty Bello helped showcase her story, leading to her debut on the cover of ThisDay Style Magazine.
She quickly secured modeling contracts with top brands such as Payporte, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Salma Guzel, and Shireen Confectioneries.
Fast forward to November 2024, Olajumoke has resurfaced in the public eye, addressing rumors and sharing updates about her journey
